Peter John Hicks Sr. 69, of Kremmling, Colorado, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2025. Born at Kelly Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, on October 30,1955, to Dale and Susan Hicks. Pete proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, Third Battalion , Platoon 3120. He later worked in the family window glazing business.
He is survived by his children Jeffery Dale Hicks, Peter John Hicks Jr., and Jamie Evely Hicks; grandchildren Tayvin Hicks, Teagan Conger, Jordan Leann Freeman, Bailey, Noah and Joseph Hicks, Julian Payne, Tristan and Cooper Dale, Raymond Jacobson; and great grandchild, Rey Thomas Hunt. He is also survived by his brothers, sister, nieces, and nephews.
Pete will be remembered as an honest man of great integrity who lived life on his own terms. He found joy in fishing, the outdoors, and animals he loved so dearly.
Military honors will be held at Fort Logan Cemetery on Thursday September 18, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. 4400 West Kenyon Ave. Denver Co. 80236.
