Peter N. Masucci
March 27, 1934 – October 3, 2024
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Peter N. Masucci, who left this world peacefully on October 3, 2024, at the age of 90. Peter was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend to all who knew him. He is survived by his beloved wife, Christina Masucci, his children, Peter N. Masucci Jr (Son), Linda Masucci (Wife), Donna Steinhauer (Daughter), Eric Steinhauer (Husband), Thomas B. Masucci (Son), Candace Masucci (Wife), Robert D. Masucci (Son) and Carla Masucci (Wife), Lisa Conley (Grandchild), Michelle Conley (Grandchild), Daniela Pieri (Grandchild), and many nieces and nephews.
Born on March 27, 1934, Peter's parents, Peter A. Masucci and Velia Masucci, along with his younger brother (Robert Masucci) lived in the Germantown section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Peter was most proud of his family, Catholic faith, Italian-American heritage, and his high school alma mater Northeast Catholic High School. Peter was known for his warmth, kindness, smile, and work ethic.
Peter found the love of his life, Chistina Scatton, while they were both working at Scatton Bros. Manufacturing Co. Their first date was midnight mass on Christmas Eve and that is where they fell in love with each other. Peter and Chris got married and raised their four children in Lansdale Pennsylvania. After 65 years their love was just as strong as they first met.
Throughout his life, Peter touched the lives of many with his contagious smile and kind-hearted nature. His family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him will remember his ability to brighten any room and put a smile on their faces. Peter enjoyed being part of his church, Corpus Christi where he was a Eucharistic Minister, president of the Holy Name Society, and captain of the Bingo team. Peter's most cherished moments were spent with his family, friends and listening to Frank Sinatra. At every family gathering and New Year's party with his gumbadi Tom Belvedere, he enjoyed a glass of Johnnie Walker Blue Label Scotch and toasted Cent'anni (100 years).
Relatives and friends are invited to Peter's Life Celebration on October 12, 2024, from 9:00 am to 10:15 am, followed by his Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am Corpus Christi Church 900 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale, PA 19446. The Burial will follow and take place at Whitemarsh Memorial Park (1169 Limekiln Pike, Ambler, PA 19002). Friends and family are invited to gather and celebrate the life of a man who brought joy and kindness to everyone around him.
He will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all whose lives he touched.
Peter's funeral mass will be live streamed via Corpus Christi's Website at https://corpuschristilansdale.org/live-video/
Family care entrusted to Boyd-Horrox-Givnish Life Celebration Home of East Norriton.
