Peter D. McGuinness age 84 of Wildwood passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, March 8, 2025.
He was fourth of five children (Mary, Josie, Lettie and Richard) born to the late Peter and Maggie McGuinness in Greenock, Scotland.
He proudly served in the British Army before settling in the United States.
Peter moved to Florida in 1973 from Peabody, MA and began his career with Coca Cola/Cutrale until his retirement.
Peter enjoyed reading, fishing and traveling with his late wife, Ellen.
He is survived by his son, Alan (Alicia) McGuinness of Richmond, VA ; his daughter, Paula Rebstad of Wildwood, FL, nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded by three sons: Billy Dixon, Stuart McGuinness, Kenneth Dixon and son-in-law, Jonathan Rebstad.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later time.
Those wishing to make a memorial contribution may do so to the Dementia Society of America, P. O. Box 600, Doylestown, PA 18901.
