Peter Moran Obituary
Born January 11, 1957 to James and Jean Moran; Peter was a devoted father, Catholic, son, friend, and brother.
Peter served honorably in the US Navy from 1976 to 1980. He worked for Latham International for 30 years. He was a lead instructor for a team of "Pool Schools" that constructed swimming pools for children's orphanages across the country. Peter was a Harley enthusiast and loved the outdoors. He was active in volunteering for local food pantries. After caring for both of his parents on their journey to Heaven, he retired to Mayfield, where he later joined them. Peter had many talents, but his best quality was he cared for other people; and put his care into action.
He will be missed by everyone whose heart he touched.
Peter is survived by his two beloved sons (Peter Jr. & Lucas), James (Margi) Moran, Claudia (Mark) Atkinson, William (Martha) Moran, Thomas (Mary Beth) Moran, Joseph (Sandi) Moran, Hilary (Kevin) Van Norstrand, extended family, and many close friends.
Any donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association/City Mission honoring his beloved parents. A celebration of life will be held in the spring on a date later to be announced.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the A.G. Cole funeral Home Inc. 215 E. Main Street, Johnstown, NY.
