Peter O. Pace January 15, 1950 – April 15, 2025
Peter O. Pace, beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2025, at the age of 75, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous year-long battle with cancer.
Born on January 15, 1950, the son of the late John and the late Jean (Selleroli) Pace, Pete was a man who lived life with passion, kindness, and a deep love for those around him. He touched the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know him, always offering a warm smile, a helping hand, or a shared laugh.
Pete was a proud and devoted father to his son Peter “Marty” Pace and his daughter Robyn Turk, and son-in-law Joseph Turk. Pete was an adoring grandfather to his grandson Joseph Turk, and fiance Joyanna Gilmore, granddaughters Gianna Turk, and Corinne Turk, who were all the light of his life, and filled his heart with great pride. He is survived by his loving brother Kenneth Pace, sister-in-law Joanne Pace, and sister Mary Marhefka and brother-in-law John Marhefka, and joins in rest his other brothers John Pace, and Ralph Pace who passed before him. Also many nieces, and nephews – Melissa Marhefka, Kristi Pace, Kenny Pace, Michelle Fitzpatrick, JJ Pace, Freddy Pace, Gregory Pace.
One of Pete’s greatest joys was his passion for classic cars — especially his cherished 1969 Camaro SS. He found a second family among the Tri-County Cruisers car club, where he shared many wonderful memories and lasting friendships with fellow enthusiasts.
Pete’s strength, generosity, and sense of humor will be deeply missed but never forgotten. His legacy lives on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. As we gather to honor and remember a man who lived life with passion and kindness, we will cherish the memories, stories, love and laughter that he shared, holding him forever in our hearts.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Pete’s remarkable life at The Morrison Etheridge Funeral Home, located at 86 Bartholdi Ave, Butler, NJ, with a viewing on April 24, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
