Peter A. Racic Jr.

Peter A. Racic Jr., age 68, passed away on July 17, 2022. He was born in Astoria, NY on February 03, 1954 to the late Peter Sr. and Mary Racic. Peter was one of the hardest working people you could meet and the first person you would call if you needed anything. The only thing he loved more than golf, classic movies, or trivia was animals and he was fiercely devoted to his sports teams. He was well into his fifties before he gave up expecting to be drafted by the Celtics. He could talk for hours about his beloved Yankees and Green Bay Packers. He was the most vocal when it came to stating his opinion or telling you you were right or wrong but those things made him a trustful source and you always knew where you stood with him. He truly loved his family and friends, and he will be dearly missed.
In addition to his parents, Peter is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Murphy.
He is survived by his children, Christopher (Jessica) Racic, of Canton, Courtney Racic, of Chicago; grandchildren, Declan, Quincy, Piper, and Ayden, all of Canton; ex-wives, Liz Weilacher, Amy Bandi; and many close friends whom he loved like family.
Memorial visitation will be held Tuesday, July 26, 2022 from 4PM to 6PM at the Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel, 705 Raff Rd SW, Canton, OH 44710. Service will follow at 6PM.
