PETER ALEXANDER "PETE" RICHARDSON, 79, passed away on Friday, September 26, 2025.

He was a retired Federal IRS agent having spent his career in New York. Pete was a very generous man who loved life and who never met a stranger. He had a great sense of humor and a knack for telling jokes. He enjoyed the great outdoors and had a special interest in guns and knives. Pete especially loved the time he spent with his Northern family enjoying the fresh seafood boils.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Obie and Rita Richardson; his beloved wife, Carol Richardson; his sister, Janice Parmenter and brothers Ray Richardson and Tom Robinson.

Survivors include his sister, Judy Williams (Gus Bittner); his brother, Paul Richardson (Melissa); his daughter, Rayna Richardson; stepson, James Dellinger; along with nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home – Jeffersontown, 10600 Taylorsville Road with burial in Big Springs Cemetery, Bloomfield, Kentucky.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
