Albert Habich Obituary
Publish in a newspaper
Born in Louisville, Albert graduated from Trinity High School in 1969 and later from the University of Kentucky. He served in the US naval reserves, in the Seabees unit in the early 70's. Later he retired from Jefferson County Family Court after many years of dedicated service. He enjoyed playing golf and was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Habich Sr. and Dorothy Habich.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving sister, Dorothea "Dee" Mitchell; nieces, Lindsay Corbin (Jason) and Laura Moser (Jon); and great-nieces and nephews, Evan Corbin, Hadley Corbin, and Nicholas Fausz.
Visitation will be held from 3–8 p.m. on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, Jeffersontown, 10600 Taylorsville Rd. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 3938 Poplar Level Rd., with burial to follow at Resthaven Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to Catholic Charities.
