Peter “Pete” Otis Shriner, 67, of Pendleton, died January 28, 2025, at his home.
He was born on December 29, 1957, in Manhattan, Kansas and worked in the chrome plating trade for several years.
Pete was a US Army veteran. He was an avid fisherman and loved country music. Pete had a sweet tooth and loved his chocolates. He was known as “The Grill Master” by his family.
Pete was preceded in death by his wife, Penny Sue (Propps) Ice Shriner; mother, Rose B. (Wanken) Shriner; father, Harold Leroy Shriner, Sr.; brother, Mike Shriner; and a sister, Lisa.
Survivors include his siblings, Harold Shriner, Vickie Creger, and Jerry Shriner; his children, Jim Ice, Jennifer Ellis, Leann Politan, Tara Ice, and Sherry Allen. A large abundance of grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m., Monday, February 3, 2025, at Bozell Funeral Homes, Lahm Chapel, 211 E. State St., Pendleton with graveside committal rites and burial in Huntsville Cemetery, Pendleton following immediately after.
