He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Peter Alba Trice Jr.; his mother, Ruby Webb Trice; and his younger brother, Daniel Webb Trice. He is survived by his son, Peter Alba Trice IV (Brooke) of Gallatin, TN; his daughter, Mary Emily Trice of Alexandria, Virginia; his sister, Amy Ruth Trice of Tuscaloosa; and his brother, Jack Stewart Trice (April) of Carrollton, Georgia. Born and raised in Tuscaloosa, Peter graduated from Tuscaloosa High School and attended the University of Alabama and Shelton State before serving as a Registered Nurse for 20 years. He was passionate about the outdoors-particularly hunting and fishing-and devoted countless hours caring for the Trice family hunting property. Known for his ability to produce a variety of animal calls, he was highly knowledgeable about wildlife. He spent many years involved with the local and state chapters of the National Wild Turkey Federation. He enjoyed sharing his enthusiasm for the outdoors by teaching and guiding hunts for anyone interested. Peter, a man with a servant's heart, was known for his willingness to help others. He was loved by many, especially his children, and will be dearly missed.
Pallbearers will be Peter A. Trice IV, Jack Trice, Craig Thornton, Lewis Foster, Sid Fowler, and Brad Kennison.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the National Wild Turkey Federation (Legacy Memorial Giving) your.nwtf.org/members/donate/ to help the organization's mission to conserve wild turkeys and preserve our hunting heritage.

My name is Debbie Pennington Skelton and I was a longtime patient of Peter´s Dad Dr Peter Trice. I loved that man. Always so sweet kind and I can still hear his voice. My whole family used him with their children... my nieces and nephews.
Peter you had a great Dad and I´m sure you have followed in his footsteps. So sorry for your family´s loss. But they can all be reunited in Heaven. My sincere condolences to your family. Debbie Skelton
