In Loving Memory of Peter J. Truscello 1938 - 2025
It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Peter J. Truscello a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, who left us on February 4, 2025. He was 86 years old. Peter Truscello was a devoted family man, cherishing every moment spent with his loved ones, especially his wife of 53 years Henrietta Truscello who passed September 28, 2015. He is survived by his two children, Christopher (Jessica) of Phoenixville, PA, and Alicia Truscello of Florida and devoted grandfather to his five grandchildren, Vanessa, Adriana, Sarah, Emma, and Peter.
His family was his pride and joy, and he leaves behind a legacy of love, family, and faith. Peter was born on July 3, 1938, in Philadelphia, PA to Vincenza (Furfari) Truscello and Carmelo Truscello. He grew up in Atco, NJ on a farm where his family grew tomatoes for Campbell's soup. He attended Drexel University where he pursued studies in mechanical engineering and graduated with honors in 1962. Peter embarked on a distinguished career in the aerospace engineering with RCA and then in the card-based software technology industry with DANYL where his peers promoted him to President. His contributions to smartcard payment-based systems earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues and peers. He was known for his unwavering work ethic, innovative ideas, and compassionate leadership.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Peter was a man of many passions. He had a deep love for his Italian heritage and was a member and President of Sons of Italy Lodge 2315 Marlton, NJ. He often spent his weekends golfing and skiing with his family and friends. He was also an avid reader who believed that knowledge never stops. His enthusiasm for life extended to his community, where he started a bocce league and karaoke group at his retirement community. Those who knew Peter Truscello will remember his warm smile, generous spirit, and unwavering support of the people he surrounded himself with.
Friends and family are invited to share their memories and celebrate his life at a viewing on Thursday, February 13, 2025 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at the Saint Simon Stock Parish, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 178 W. White Horse Pike, Berlin, NJ 08009. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00AM. Interment to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Berlin NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 3 Eves Drive, Suite 310, Marlton, NJ 08053 or the National Scleroderma Foundation, 385 Kings Highway North, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034, organizations that are close to Peter Truscello's heart.
Rest in peace, Dad. You will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.
With love and remembrance,
Christopher Truscello and Family

Dear Truscello Family,
I'm so sorry to hear of Pete's
Passing. Your Dad and Mom were great neighbors. We had many fun times talking about South Philly and Jersey.
I enjoyed my visits with your mom and grandmother
Dad would come over to our house when the "girls" were settled and have a beer or some wine. We loved his stories.
He will be missed.
May he rest in peace
