Peter Yersin Obituary

Born May 26, 1954, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Ray Albert and Joan Laun Yersin. He was married to Garnet M. Pawlosky, who preceded him in death on July 12, 2023.
He is survived by two step-sons, Bryan Waldmier and his wife Amy of Bellefonte, and Adam Waldmier and his wife Bernadette of Phoenix, AZ; and two brothers, Tim and Andrew. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two siblings, Joanna Harmond and Dion Yersin.
Peter earned his degree from the Hotel Restaurant Program at Penn State University. He then worked as a professor at Penn State, teaching restaurant and wine classes. He enjoyed wine tasting, and even got the chance to do so on a trip to Europe. He also loved his many golden retrievers over the years; his most recent being Maggie.
There will be no services.
