Mr. Phil D. Vickery, age 81 of Lavonia, Ga., passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2025.
Son of the late Asa Garfield Vickery and Sara Louise Vickery. He was born in the Shoal Creek Community.
Phil was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Betty Jordan and brothers, Jack and Jerry Vickery. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Barbara Vickery, sons, Shannon (Kim) Vickery of Elberton, Ga., and Greg (Mary) Vickery of Lavonia, Ga., daughter, Pam Vickery of Four Oaks, NC, grandchildren, Alex (Angela) Vickery, Andrew (Meredith) Vickery, John Michael Vickery and great-grandchildren, Lila and Sawyer Vickery.
He was a life long member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church.
