Philip Lee Campbell

Philip Lee Campbell of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away from this life on June 5, 2022, at the age of 66. Philip was born in Oklahoma City to Preston L. and Betty J. Campbell on October 14, 1955. Mr. Campbell was a Courier Foreman, retiring after several years of dedicated service.
Philip was a social person who loved being the life of the party. Always armed with a good joke, he loved to have people over to his home, a place that was a safe landing spot for everyone in his life. Philip's home was open to everyone, and those close to him knew that they were always welcome to drop by anytime and say hi. He enjoyed a good game of pool, and loved being outdoors, spending many a weekend out at Lake Thunderbird, swimming and simply hanging out with those he loved. He was a dedicated family man, and Philip loved having family gatherings and enjoyed any opportunity to get the entire family together. He adored his family, especially his precious grandchildren, and had a special bond with his great-granddaughter, Kali. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend. Philip will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Preston and Betty Campbell, one brother, David Campbell, and a niece, Starla Branham.
Left behind to treasure his memory are his wife of 22 years, Barbara Campbell; his son, Patrick Campbell and wife Amanda, as well as Stacie Kelley, and Lynette McAdams; his grandchildren, Savannah Salazar, Aaliyah Deloney, Mercedes Davis, Ryan McAdams, and Rebecca McAdams; his great-grandchildren, Kali Salazar, and Nathaniel Harris; two sisters, Charlotte Vincent, and Paula Magerus-Striplin; his nieces, Angie White and husband Mike, and Randa Crafton and husband Tyler, and nephews Kevin Grigsby, and Steven Wade Grigsby and wife Ashley; along with a host of great-nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.
