Philip Frank, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, son and nephew, of Parkland, FL, passed away on April 3, 2024 at the age of 88. He was born on April 25, 1935, in Cambridge, MA, to the late Harold and Anna Frank who emigrated from Russia to the United States.
Phil proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He earned his MBA from Suffolk University and dedicated his career to public service as a fraud investigator with the FBI and the State of Florida Attorney General's office. He was known for his unwavering commitment to justice and integrity.
Phil was a dedicated family man and a pillar of strength over many years for those he loved. He was always there for his loved ones through thick and thin, happy to lend a helping hand. If it was in his power to give you something or do something for you, he would do so unselfishly. Phil was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his own back. He was always there to care for sick relatives, give advice or simply lend an ear. He was known for his dependability.
Phil was happiest when with family. Whether it was dining at a restaurant, taking a family vacation or just being together for a holiday, nothing brought him more joy than for everyone to be together and happy.
Outside of his professional and family life, Phil had a passion for travel, photography, spending time in nature, collecting watches, and indulging in his love for shopping, particularly for clothes, shoes, and electronics.
Phil is survived by his children Howard Frank, Brenda Hreschak, and Judy Hyman, son in laws Richard Hreschak and Greg Hyman, as well as his grandchildren Samantha Hreschak, Joe Hreschak, and Allegra Hreschak. He is also survived by his aunt Frances Band. Sadly, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife Sheilah Harris and sister Rita Sheinblatt.
A funeral service with full military honors to honor Phil's life will be held on Sunday, April 7th, at 2:15 pm at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens, located at 11520 State Road 7, Boynton Beach, FL 33473.
