Philip Eugene Leasure of Bishopville, MD passed away on Thursday November 21 2024 at Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin, MD. He was born in Baltimore MD and was the son of the late John Leasure and Sarah Cornwell Clark.
He retired from McLean Contracting Company as a crane operator after 42 years. He worked on building bridges up and down the east coast including the RT. 90 bridge and Indian River Inlet bridge. Also, both bridges to Assateague Island. After retiring he worked for Dumser's Dairyland for 19 years. He was a member of Wilson Methodist Church in Bishopville MD.
Philip is survived by his daughters, Marian Timmons and her husband Donald of Berlin MD and Brenda Leasure; a son, Todd P. Leasure of Bishopville MD; four granddaughters, Nicole Kressin (John), Anna Timmons (Jarred), Erin Timmons and Tara Leasure; two grandsons, Philip Leasure and Gene Leasure; four great-grandchildren, Dylan Kressin, Cody Kressin, Makenzie Kressin and Jackson Timmons; one brother, Richard Leasure (Bev).
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie R. Leasure and a daughter, Barbara Leasure.
A private graveside service will be held at the Bishopville Cemetery in Bishopville, MD.
In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to Wilson Church, Bishopville, MD.
