Donald Hixon Obituary

He served in the United States Marine Corps and was a Vietnam veteran. Prior to his retirement he had been a maintenance Supervisor with the Daily Times, Phillips Crab House and the Federal Courthouse and Post Office in downtown Salisbury. He was a member of The Beagle Club and enjoyed running dogs with his grandchildren.
He is survived by a son, Alan Hixon and wife Amy of Pittsville, MD; grandchildren, Jason Hixon, Melissa Richbark, Cynthia Hixon, Alan Michael Hixon, Jonathon Hixon, and Torre Hixon, and many great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Hixon; two sons, Eddie Malcom and Mark Hixon; two great grandchildren Wyatt Richbark and David "Davey" Cyr.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, August 1, 2025 at Shavox Church Cemetery in Whaleyville, MD.
