Philip McIlwee Obituary
Philip Wayne McIlwee, 84, of Gore, VA, died on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at his home.
Philip was born on November 5, 1940, in Hayfield, VA, the son of the late Lewis V. and Ida E. Larrick McIlwee. Philp was a veteran in the United States Air Force and was a member of the Hebron Baptist Church in Gore. He was owner and operator for Philip McIlwee Roofing and worked at O'Sullivan's, IBM, and the Sand Mine in Gore. Philip was an avid hunter, fisherman, coin collector, historian, and enjoyed reading.
He is preceded in death by a brother: James McIlwee.
Private inurnment will be held later this spring.
Arrangements are by Giffin Funeral Home & Crematory, Capon Bridge, WV.
