Philip Lee Morgan, age 69, of Clayton, peacefully departed this life on March 7, 2026. He was born on October 24, 1956 in Greencastle, Indiana to the late Max Morgan and Lola (Phillips) Morgan. Philip graduated from Cascade High School in 1975. Phil retired from working for Indiana state government in the Motor Fuel Tax Division. Additionally, he worked at the Iron Skillet in Indianapolis and at Meijer in Plainfield. Phil was an active member of Graceway Fellowship Church in Mooresville. He was an avid Pacers fan, supporting the team for 43 years. Phil was also an active supporter of Cascade High School, and was known as the “Cascade Super Fan.” Philip is survived by his sisters, Judith (Paul) Johnson and Janis (Geoff) Price; 2 nieces, 4 nephews, 5 great nieces and 3 great nephews.

As a devoted Christian, Phil loved and served others. Many family and friends anticipated getting a birthday phone call and hearing him sing “Happy Birthday.”

A Celebration of Life will be at the Cascade High School Performing Arts Center (6565 S. County Rd. 200 W. Clayton, IN 46118) on April 19, 2026. Visitation will be from 1:00 – 3:00PM with the Celebration of Life at 3:00 PM.

Memorial contributions can be made to Cascade High School Athletics.
