HIGH POINT - Philip Wade Price, 50, died Sunday, December 29, 2024, at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem.
Philip was born March 23, 1974, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, and was the son of the late George Milton and Margaret Ann Mason Price. He received a Bachelor's degree in Communication from Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, and a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Information Technology from Strayer University in Greensboro. He worked as a customer service representative for United Health Care. Philip enjoyed football and was most content spending time with his family.
Philip is survived by his wife, Myra Shawn Ellis Price, whom he married on August 13, 2005; his son, Evan Price, of the home; brother, Paul Price of Greensboro; parent-in-laws, Joe and Vivian Ellis of High Point; and two brothers-in-law, Michael Ellis (Stephanie) of High Point and Gregg Ellis of Jamestown.
Funeral service celebrating Philip's life will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 7, 2025, in the Chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in High Point with Pastor Tim James officiating. Burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday, January 6, 2025, at the funeral home.
