Phillip Bocinsky Obituary

Age 88, late of Lockport passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. Retired from ComEd in 1995 after many years of dedicated service. An avid golfer, fisherman and enjoyed hunting which brought him so much joy. Member of Downers Grove Moose Lodge # 1535. He will be forever missed by all who knew and loved him.
Preceded in death by his son, Robert Svolba; his parents, John and Agnes (Nee Novak) Bocinsky; his siblings, Buddy Bocinsky, Leroy Bocinsky, Evelyn Nielson, Arlene Burger, LaVerne Meinhard, Sandy Norgord, Donald Bocinsky, Richard Bocinsky, and Agnes "Curly" Johnson.
Survived by his devoted children, Phillip (late Kimberly) Bocinsky and Laura Svolba; his adored grandson, Phillip John Bocinsky; one brother, Joe (Marlene) Bocinsky; and numerous family members and dear friends.
Private family services and entombment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
