To the Hodges Family
My heart goes out to you at this difficult time. Know that he will be deeply missed. He was always so kind to everyone, especially OLLICE Winfrey, I will never forget , as soon as he heard about OLLICE being in the hospital, he came right over. It meant so much to me at that time. I remember some thirty something years that he and OLLICE were members at the YMCA, they were workout buddies. I´m sure that he and OLLICE will meet again, now that they both are gone. To the family, I´m so sorry to hear about Phil. Even though Phil is gone, he´ll never be forgotten. May God comfort and keep this family safe.

Phil was my next door neighbor while growing up in Gadsden. I have a lot of fond memories! Riding our bicycles together with the neighborhood kids and playing football and basketball. Celebrating Birthday Parties together. Playing Badminton in my back yard and spending Summers at Wildhaven Swim Club! Water skiing in the Coosa down at Southside. Carpooling together to Gadsden High and once going down to Panama City Beach, Florida for Spring Break with some College friends. I am confident that Phil is now in the Arms of the Lord and embraced by His Comfort. He has joined his older Brother Steve, his Parents and many other loved ones. Rest in Peace my dear friend. It was a Pleasure growing up with you. Until we meet again one day. To Myrna, John and Kim and your Families, May God strengthen and comfort you and wrap His Arms around you during this time of sorrow to give you peace.
