Sending lots of good thoughts to you. Phil was an amazing mentor. I learned so much from him when I was an intern at VA Boston in 2000. He had an ability to approach any situation with calm and good humor. His end of year review of funny exchanges during behavioral emergencies from the year was a highlight of my training. In the years since my internship, I would always stop to chat when I saw him in the hallways of the VA. He always left me with a smile. I feel lucky to have had time with him. I am so sorry for the deep loss you are experiencing.
