Phillip Losordo

Phillip Losordo passed away suddenly on Wednesday, October 18th 2023, in the home that he built for his family in Hanover, MA.
Phillip was the devoted husband of 45 years to his late wife, Patty. He was the cherished father to their five children Kristin and son-in-law Raymond, Abby, his late son Phillip F and his widow Jessica, Leigh, and Rachel. He was known as Papa to his 5 adored grandchildren Sam, Liliana, Kien, Lauren, and Jane. Phillip was known as "Jumbo" to all his friends; a truly fitting nickname for his larger-than-life personality and storytelling ability. The way Phillip told a story could make you feel like you were right there as part of the memory and not just listening to it.
Phillip's family was his life's greatest accomplishment and joy. Whether it be taking a ride on his motorcycle or spending the day out on the boat exploring Cape Cod and Martha's Vineyard, it was always done with his family. Together they all shared stories and laughter around the dinner table and the fireplace; these were his favorite times and will remain treasured memories for his children and grandchildren.
Phillip's career as a talented Carpenter left his touch on many buildings and homes from Boston to Cape Cod. He was one of the very best. In his retirement, Phillip's love for Carpentry resulted in beautiful hand-crafted birdhouses and custom stools. Phillip's talent could transform wood and nails into works of art.
Phillip was a friend to many and any friend of Phillip's was considered family to him and always welcomed a meal around his table. His smile and the twinkle in his eye will truly be missed by all whose lives he touched.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 26, 2023 from 4 – 8 PM at Chapman Funerals & Cremations, 475 Main Street, Falmouth, MA. A Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, October 27, 2023 at 10 AM at St. Anthony Church, 167 East Falmouth Hwy, East Falmouth, MA. Burial will follow at St. Anthony Cemetery.
