Phillip J. Masgai

PHILLIP J. MASGAI, age 90, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2025. Devoted husband of 55 years to Dorothy "Dolly" Masgai (nee Wilkoski). Loving father to James P. Masgai (Patti), Daniel J. Masgai, and Marie E. Hall (Richard). Beloved grandfather to Bella Lynn Masgai. Dear brother to the late Elizabeth "Betty" Lienheiser (the late Karl), also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Phil worked as a millwright his entire career. He worked for Budd company followed by US Pipe and Foundry until his retirement in 2010. He was an avid car guy with being around town in either his bright blue coupe or bright yellow truck. He always enjoyed spending time with members of the Time Travelers, Port Richmond Cruisers and Philadelphia Modifiers car clubs.
Relatives, friends and members of Time Travelers of Pennsylvania, Port Richmond Crusiers of Philadelphia, and Philadelphia Modifiers of Bucks County are invited to his viewing Thursday, May 22, 2025, from 11:00AM until 1:00PM at Louis A. DiGiacomo Funeral Home, Inc., 1055 Southampton Road, Philadelphia PA 19116, immediately followed by Words of Rememberance 1:00PM at the funeral home. Interment with military honors will be held at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 18940.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Pennsylvania Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals at pspca.org.
Attendees are requested to wear very casual attire which was Phil's normal. T-shirt, Jeans and Denim shirts and drive their hot rods to his services.
