Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on June 20, 2023 at age 73. Beloved husband of 52 years to Marilyn (nee Koenig). Proud dad of Jennifer (Daniel) Schultz, Anne Barry (Brian Petroske), and Joseph Milazzo (Carey Alber). Loving Papa Phil to Abigail Schultz, William Schultz, Chelsea Barry, Ciara Petroske, Ashley Petroske, Olivia Milazzo, Natalie Milazzo, Joseph Milazzo, and Ember. Dear brother of Mary Ann Shelby. Brother-in-law of Audrey Below (John Callahan) and James (Laura) Koenig. Also loved and will be missed by additional family members and friends.
Phil retired after 35+ years with Wheaton Franciscan Health Care. He loved baseball and coaching youth leagues. He was a true Wisconsin sports fan rooting for the Brewers, Badgers, and Packers. He enjoyed biking, golfing, and spending time with family and friends.
Gathering at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin on Saturday, July 8, from 10:00 AM – 11:45 AM. Memorial Service at 12:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to Prohealth Care Angelsgrace Hospice.
The family would like to thank everyone who cared for Phil these last few months.
