Phillip Leonard Shingleton Phillip Leonard Shingleton, 71, St. Marys, WV, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at Worthington Healthcare Center. Born in Marietta, OH, on February 15, 1954, He was a son of the late Smith and Winnie Higgins Shingleton. He was a 1972 graduate of St. Marys High School. Phillip worked at Southern States Feed Store, Colin Anderson Center, Williamstown Fabricating, and was a well tender. He loved to hunt, enjoyed firearms, traveling to the mountains, and never met a stranger. He is survived by his sister, Brenda Kemp, one brother, Charles D. Shingleton' several nieces and nephews; and special friends, J.L. Brown, Dave Winans, Michael Barr, Jimmy Satterfield, and Wyatt Satterfield. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Denton Shingleton, and Smith Shingleton, Jr., and three sisters, Doris Zappore, Ruby Jean Coleman, and Melody Jo Grant. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 11 A. M. at Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys, WV, with Pastor Rex Cox officiating. Interment will be in the Maple Lane Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 P. M. Friday and from 10 to 11 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
