Phillip Stapleton Obituary
Phillip Roscoe "Rocky" Stapleton 64, of Henderson KY. passed away July 5, 2024, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh IN. He was born July 17, 1959 in Madisonville, Hopkins Cty. Kentucky to the late, Lowell Dalton & Rose Ester (Dockery) Stapleton. Rocky as he was known to many was a truck driver and worked as a janitor and floor tech for Little Sisters of the Poor and St. Vincent de Paul for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother, Bill and a brother, Jimmy, sisters, Sherry and Sheila, and his beloved wife, Roberta (Vandiver) Stapleton in July 26, 2020.
Rocky is survived by his daughter, Ashley Stapleton, brother, Donnie (Debbie) Stapleton, and several nieces and nephews.
A Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 11, 2024 at the Bethlehem Church Cemetery, Madisonville KY.
