Phillip Dean Tuttle, age 92, of New Martinsville, WV, passed away Sunday, November 16, 2025, peacefully in his sleep.

He was born October 3, 1933, in Sistersville, WV, a son of the late Opha and Louella Webber Tuttle.

He attended Paden City grade schools and Magnolia High School. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 3 years, then was employed at PPG Industries for 39 years. He was a charter member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in New Martinsville. He was a Boy Scout Master and a mentor to many. He was a generous soul who enjoyed helping others, volunteering, and being of service to his friends, loved ones, and his community. He was a skilled photographer, and he filmed Magnolia football games for many years.

Phill loved to travel and has visited all 49 continental US states with his wife and Avian camping group. In his free time, he built and flew model airplanes, built extensive model train scenes and enjoyed building, working with cars, and keeping his hands busy.

Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Patricia Ann (Blum) Tuttle; a son, Michael Alan (Jeanna) Tuttle of Sardis, OH; two daughters, Janet Kay (James) Tuttle of Eastlake, OH and Kathryn Lynn Daugherty of Huntersville, NC; a sister, Susan Jernigan of Rockhill, SC; and his grandchildren, Nathan, Monica, Isaiah, and Sarah Tuttle, Meghan and Mary Daugherty and Nicholas Tuttle; and his beloved cat, Kitty Tuttle.

He was well loved by all whose lives he touched and he will be missed.
