Phillip C. Yoder, age 75, of Millersburg Ohio passed away at his home March 23, 2025, following a period of declining health. He was born September 10, 1949 to Galen and Mary Yoder of Shreve. He was a graduate of Waynedale High School and served in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Phil worked for and retired from the Timken Company.
He married Joyce Taylor on February 14, 1973. They raised three children: Tyrene Yoder, Brandi (Aaron) Schlauch and Brock (Natalie) Yoder. Grandchildren include Keysha (Adam), Dylan, Logan (Taylor), Wyatt (Laina), Noah and Lucas. Great-Grandchildren are Kendal, Jackson, Mackenzie, Kassidy, Charity and another expected in August. He is survived by his brothers: Jim, Keith, Galen and Bob; and sisters, Gayla Coldren and Amy Mast.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Dan Yoder; brother-in-law, Lynn Cline; sisters-in-law, Cindy Taylor and Mary Ann Yoder; and a niece, Ashley Taylor.
Phil enjoyed going to Sprint car races with his good friends, mowing the yard several times a week and taking naps. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Graveside services will be held Sunday, March 30th at the Killbuck Cemetery, at 1:00 p.m. Military honors will be presented by the Melvin McClure American Legion, Holmesville, where he served as chaplain.
