Phillis Naser Bunnell ObituaryLITCHFIELD – Phyllis Naser Bunnell, 93, passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2025. She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Edward R. Bunnell.
Born in Torrington, Conn. on May 4, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Peter F. and Gladys (Perkins) Naser. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Litchfield and enjoyed singing in the choir. After she graduated from Albertus Magnus College, Phyllis taught in the Litchfield school system before she started her family. Once her children were old enough, she served as the Assistant Town Clerk of Litchfield.
Edward and Phyllis enjoyed traveling, going on cruises, and square-dancing events.
She is survived by a son Rob Bunnell and his significant other Barbara of Ocala, Fla., her daughter Sandy and her husband Mac Bramley of Torrington, and son-in-law Dave Lamir of Southington; 5 granddaughters, Linnea and her husband Tedd Strileckis, Jennifer and her husband Kevin Waugh, Ashley and her husband Steve Woodcock and their son Carson, Megan and her husband Matt Bowers and their daughter Emma, and Jessica Shea. She was predeceased by her sons, Kenneth Bunnell and Richard Bunnell and her daughter Janet Bunnell Lamir.
Services were held privately by the family.
