Phoebe Mae Lockley

Cumberland, MD – Phoebe Mae Lockley (Broadway), 49, of Cumberland, MD, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, June 22, 2023.
Born August 3, 1973, in Frederick, MD, Mrs. Broadway was the daughter of Sharon (Workman) Long and the late Asia Broadway, Jr. She was also preceded in death by her grandparents, who raised her: Asia Broadway and wife, Hazel; and her son Asia Broadway.
Phoebe was a graduate of Walkersville Christian Academy, and attended Frederick High School. She graduated from Allegany College of Maryland where she received her nursing degree. Phoebe worked in various nursing homes over the years. She attended Radiant Life Full Gospel Church. Phoebe enjoyed painting, gardening, and cooking, but more than anything, she loved to read and study the Bible. She was very family oriented and loved spending time with them.
Phoebe is survived by her husband of 7 years: Myron Lockley; her daughter: Shannon Broadway; her son: Elisha Broadway and fiancée, Onyka; her numerous step-children; her grandchildren: Alyziah, Hezekiah "Cricket," Hazel "Pearl," and Asia; her sister: Mae Broadway and Jimmy; her brothers: Asia Broadway and wife, Stefanie, and Seth Workman; her nieces and nephews: Chad and his children; John and Kia, and their children; Christian and Rashida; Baby Jimmy and Khloe; Faith and her daughter; Asia and Avery, and their son; Trinity; Kaelynn, Kaiya, and Kaden and Tiana.
Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD, on Friday, June 30, 2023, from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 P.M. with Reverend Michelle White officiating.
Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
