I am so sorry to hear of her passing. I had the opportunity to work with her for a short time a number of years ago and saw her again earlier this year. She was always smiling and had a compliment or a good word to say. My prayers are for peace, comfort and strength to her family.

Phyllis you've left us to take your final holiday far too early, you'll be so missed. Your wisdom and open friendship cannot be replicated but our memories of all those special moments with you do remain and provide beautiful reminders of just how precious the moment is and how it must be enjoyed.

My sincere condolences to the family and friends of Phyllis. She joined the Soroptimist International Club of Grosse Pointe about a year ago and became an instant friend to us all. She was kind, caring, smart and full of ideas. I will always treasure the short time we spent together as time being spent with someone who had a warm heart and was full of joy and laughter. While I will miss seeing her at our meetings and events, I know that her beautiful spirit will always be with us.

Phyllis was a great friend over many years as we worked together, raised our children and received our degrees by going to school I n the evening after work. She exemplified a commitment to excellence in all she pursued. Her love and pride in her children was clear and I'm certain a source of strength to them. I miss you my friend, but know you're laughing and enjoying this new adventure!

Phyllis excelled in her career in Human Resources at Unisys & Burroughs. We worked together for many years. We were very close in age and Phyllis retired just a few months after I retired. We stayed in touch through Facebook and I so enjoyed seeing the photos of her trip to Hungary. She watched out for me over the years at work and was very professional and caring in our conversations together. My sincere condolences to her family and close friends. May your memories sustain you and comfort you as you adjust to a life without her loving presence.

You have my deepest condolences, I worked at Burroughs/Unisys /Burroughs with Phyllis and came to know her as a very kind caring and giving person. She helped me tremendously in the ministry of feeding and caring for the homeless throughout the Metro Detroit Area in ways that she never realized.
I often think of her.

I met Phyllis less than a year ago when she joined Soroptimists International - Grosse Pointe Chapter. What a dynamo! She dove into activities, attended events, said yes to requests to volunteer, joined the book club and became part of the group in record time. She even got others to join. Amazing woman! So sorry I won't have the chance to know her better. Heartfelt condolences to her family and friends.

Phyllis was a lovely person. I knew her from Unisys in Plymouth. One Halloween she dressed up like a witch. She had the wig and the hat of course, but she also had these really cool and creepy rings. When I asked her where she got them, she confessed she was a hippie in her day and had saved them over the years as momentos. Cool story from a groovy lady!!

I enjoyed getting to know Phyllis during a trip to Hungary this year. She was fun to be with, sweet, kind, and perceptive to others' needs. During the trip, I cried on her shoulder after I spread my Mother's ashes where she played as a child at Esterhazy Palace. What a tremendous loss this is to her children! She will be sorely missed. She was a wonderful person and I'll never forget her.
