Phyllis Fippinger Obituary
Funeral Service is 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 16, 2023 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport with Graveside Service to be 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 17, 2023 at Memorial Oaks Cemetery in Houston, Texas. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service on Sunday at the funeral home.
Phyllis was born on May 31, 1929 to Mitchell and Erma (Dick) Londot in Aurora, Illinois. She was united in marriage to Gerald "Gerry" Edwin Fippinger on August 26, 1950 in Maywood, Illinois and they were together 70 wonderful years until his passing on February 25, 2020. Phyllis was a homemaker and was devoted to her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gerry Fippinger; her daughter, Barbara Fippinger Sitton; her brother, David Londot and her daughter-in-law, Donna Fippinger.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her 3 sons, Don Fippinger of Chico, Bruce Fippinger and Carol of California, and Dale Fippinger and wife Melissa of Baytown; her grandchildren, Jeannine Powers and husband Alan, JoAnn Cheek and husband Emory, Julie Hurtle and husband Steven, Janet Sutherland and husband Duane, Jonathan Fippinger and wife Adreane, Karen Barker, Russ Sitton and wife Crystal, Jonathon Sitton, Zachary Fippinger and wife Paula, Morgan Fippinger and wife Mai, Steven Fippinger, and Lauren Shanks and husband Nick; 35 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild; her brother, Rolland Londot; her sister-in-law, Joan Londot; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
