After a long battle of fighting cancer, Phyllis "Darlene" Grimes, 73 of Columbus, OH was welcomed into heaven on Sept 5, 2024. Waiting for her at the gates parents Gene & Glenna, Brother Steven, and Son Ronald. She leaves behind her legacy to Children Rocky (Cathy), Andrea, Roxanne (John); grandchildren Michael, Emmett (Rob), Victoria (Shawn), Shannon, Christian, Cori, Julia; great grandbabies Jhett and Maxwell, and brother Russell (Cathy). As well as many others that she loved dearly.
Mommadoo was a long-time member of the CCU church family. Her final church home being at Capital City Church. She met a lot of longtime friends through church, and she loved them all. She was an avid healthcare worker with around 15 years working with Riverside Methodist Hospital.
There will be a service held in her Honor from 3p-5p on Sept 17, 2024 at 464 Rathmell Rd. Lockbourne, OH 43137. Viewing from 3p-4p with service at 4. Funeral Officiant will be Pastor Stephen Palmer. In Lieu of flowers mom would prefer blankets, and chimes.
Following the Service, you are welcome to join us for food and fellowship.
