Michael Joseph Lipsky, age 66, passed away suddenly Wednesday, February 18, 2026. He was born on December 9, 1959 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Dr. Joseph A. and Betty Sue (Carter) Lipsky. Michael graduated from Whetstone High School in 1977 and later The Ohio State University, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Natural Resources. He worked for several years at the U.S. National Park Service as a historical interpreter. Michael enjoyed Civil War re-enactments, reading historical non-fiction, and traveling with friends. He was a good storyteller and always had a joke ready to share. Michael will be greatly missed by his sister Ann-Marie (Peter) Sharpe of Wixom, Michigan, and nieces Megan Sharpe of Powell, Tennessee, and Sarah (Matt) Dornan, of West Bloomfield, Michigan.
Michael requested a simple interment at Union Cemetery. Arrangements by Shaw-Davis.
