Phyllis Elaine Hobbs, 80, of Keene, Texas passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2024 in Keene.
She was born on November 9, 1943 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to Willis and Glenna (Chapman) Hedgecock. She married Clem Hobbs on June 7, 1964 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Phyllis grew up on a ranch in Wyoming. She could cook, sew, and make anything. She loved the mountains and taking care of her family. She worked as a business manager for Keene ISD before retirement. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, George Hedgecock.
Survivors include her beloved husband of 60 years, Clem Hobbs of Keene; sons, Scott Brian Hobbs and wife Tracy of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Chris Ryan Hobbs of Whitney; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Diane Hedgecock of Edmond Alberta, Canada; and several extended family and friends.
