Phyllis A. (Walsh) Jordan, 91, of Wilmington, Delaware passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2025. Born in Wilmington on December 16, 1933, she was the daughter of the late George and Catherine (Pusey) Walsh.

Phyllis served as the office manager for her husband's optometry practice, William E. Jordan, OD, P.A., until their retirement in 1996. She was a member of St. John the Beloved Parish and attended the Academy of Lifelong Learning.

Her husband of 68 years, William, passed away on March 20, 2023. She was also sadly predeceased by her infant son, Christopher, and her brother, George Walsh.

Phyllis is survived by her son, Bradley J. Jordan; her daughter, Robin A. Thompson; her grandson, Jessie D. Thompson and wife, Brianna; her great grandchildren, Alexis, Hunter and Brynlee Thompson.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John the Beloved Church, 907 Milltown Road, Wilmington on Thursday, August 28 at 12:30PM, immediately followed by interment at All Saints Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Phyllis may be made to the Ministry of Caring, 115 E. 14th Street, Wilmington, DE 19801 (www.ministryofcaring.org) or the Sunday Breakfast Mission, PO Box 352, Wilmington, DE 19899 (www.sundaybreakfastmission.org).
