Phyllis Mayberry Obituary

She was born on November 26, 1941 to the late Roy and Pauline (Allen) Hayter. She attended Broughton Baptist Church.
On November 27, 1959 she married Vernon Ray Mayberry and he preceded her in death of February 19, 2008. She is survived by her two sons, Marvin (Mary) Mayberry of Eldorado and Ray (Summer) Mayberry of McLeansboro. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Mitchell (Gretchen) Mayberry, Megan Mayberry, Justin (Megan) Mayberry and Tyler Mayberry and five great grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, Phillip Hayter of Yakima, WA and special friends, Rhonda Grisham and Becky O'Neil. She was preceded in death by a brother, John Hayter, and a sister Joyce Gunter.
Funeral services for Phyllis will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado with Pastor Scott Pilkington officiating. Burial will be in Digby Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until service time of 1:00 PM.
