Phyllis Ann McAnally

Phyllis Ann McAnally, age 86, of Tazewell, formerly of Rutledge, went to her heavenly home on Saturday, December 13, 2025. She was a charter member of Lighthouse Missionary Baptist Church. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was preceded in death by her son, James "Jimmy" McAnally; granddaughters, Tiffany Magbee and Tessie Moore; mother, Thelma Townsend; and father, Henry Gills. She is survived by her sons, John McAnally (Haley), Gordon McAnally (Missy), and Clifford McAnally; daughters, Cindy Fleeman (Allen) and Brenda Marshall (Tim); daughter-in-law, Debbie McAnally; grandchildren, Mike McAnally (Wendi), Chris Fleeman (Katie), Felicia Fleeman (Mike), Alex Fleeman, Michael Mize, Morgan Watson (Casi), David McAnally; great-grandchildren, Aidan, Adalin, Aeyan, Brenan, Alaya, Matt, Brinley, Jayce, Cayden. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 16th, from 5:00-7:00 PM in the chapel of Fielden Funeral Home in New Market. The funeral service will begin at 7:00 PM with Rev. Tim Inklebarger and Rev. Morgan Watson officiating and music by Diane Lay and Forgiven. Family and friends will meet at Fielden Funeral Home at 9:15 AM on Wednesday, December 17th, for a procession to Shiloh Cemetery for a 10:00 AM graveside with Pastor Sean Watson officiating and music by Michelle Watson. Phyllis's grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Amedisys Hospice Nurses for their help and guidance, and to Wendi and Alaya for their special care of Mamaw.
