Angela Elizabeth Stranger

Angela Elizabeth Stranger, age 60, of Jewell Ridge, Virginia, passed away on Monday, February 9, 2026, at a Roanoke, Virginia, hospital.

Angela was born on April 12, 1965, in Richlands, Virginia, and was the daughter of the late Otis Chester and Mary Ellen Goodman Pruitt. She was a 1983 graduate of Richlands High School and was a vendor at M.E. Antiques and Collectibles in Tazewell, VA. Angela was a lifelong resident of the area and was a member of Layman's Chapel for 25 years. Angela was a loving wife, sister, sister-in-law, and aunt. Angela loved her Lord and Savior with all her heart and ministered his word to many. Whenever you met Angela, she also had a smile a on her face and she always greeted her with love.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister in law, Jayne Stranger Pruitt.

Funeral services for Angela Elizabeth Stranger will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Richlands, VA with the Rev. Danny Houchins, David Houchins, and Robert Osborne, and Jamie Steffey officiating. Interment will follow at Hankins Cemetery in Richlands, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Friday evening at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are asked to be made to the funeral home.
