Phyllis McGinnis

Phyllis McGinnis left this world in the early hours of March 27, 2026.

She was proceeded in her passing by her husband, Clyde Junior; grandson, Johnathan Allen; and the only cat she ever claimed to like, Eggo "Diego"

In her wake she left behind 3 children, Teresa Ann, Johnny Ray, and Shirley Christine; 2 grandchildren, Dustin Ryan and Gerrica Rachelle; 3 great grandchildren, Brayden Lane,

Myles Kelce, and Sutton Ryan.

While not much is known about the first half of her life, those that knew her in the last half were honored to meet the only person in the universe who could pack 15 foot of contrary into a tiny 5-foot frame. She was more than willing to share the fact that she loved to hate the two cats that kept her spot warm for her, and her love for anything western.

She never judged a book by its cover and once you were in her circle, she never judged you at all. Despite that, she had a gift of gab and was nosy as could be.

To truly know her was to love her, and her leaving will forever mark our lives in an indescribable way.

You are loved, and I will see you tomorrow.

There will be a Graveside Service on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Dowell's Chapel Cemetery in Tuckerman, Arkansas.
