FLORENCE — Phyllis Ramirez, 59, died peacefully at home on July 16, 2024.
Mrs. Ramirez was born to Virginia Hamilton and Johnny Pullum in Florence on July 11, 1965, and raised there. She graduated from Florence High School in 1983, attended Northern Arizona University and worked for the Arizona Department of Corrections before retirement.
She was devoted to her family and friends and loved spending time with them and traveling to Virginia to see family members. She also loved playing online games and enjoyed dinners at her favorite restaurant, Red Lobster. She enjoyed her two cats and dog.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph Ramirez; two daughters and a son, Jennifer, Victoria and Joey; a sister, Gloria Partin; 16 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren, with two more expected. She was preceded in death by her parents, Virginia June Dodson and Johnny Pullum; her brothers, Wayne Partin and Shane Hartman; and grandparents, Virginia Wilbur Hamilton and Virgil Hamilton.
