Phyllis A. Randall, 68, passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at Baystate Medical Center. A longtime resident of Tennessee, she had recently moved to Massachusetts to be closer to her family.
Born in Lowell on May 23, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Richard Sherlock and the late Ellen (Delany) Sherlock. Phyllis was raised in Tewksbury, where she attended local schools and graduated from Tewksbury Memorial High School.
As a child, she cherished her family's annual summer vacations to Plum Island. She was a gifted artist who loved to draw and paint, and had a deep love for animals. While living in Tennessee, she even kept a small farm, a testament to her nurturing and independent spirit.
Phyllis spent much of her career in food service, working in both Massachusetts and Tennessee, primarily in management roles. Later, she earned her Commercial Driver's License and proudly worked as a truck driver for several years.
She is survived by her two sons, Francis Randall of Concord, NH, and Wayne Barrett of Raymond, NH; and her sisters, Patricia Moriarty of Granby, MA, Catherine McPhee of Bath, NH, and Jean Sherlock of Leverett, MA. In addition she leaves her grandchildren, Abigail Randall, Jackson Randall, Zoe Barrett and Jackson Barrett.
Her burial will take place privately at the Tewksbury Cemetery. Arrangements by the Tewksbury Funeral Home www.tewksburyfuneralhome.com
