Phyllis Annette Sheffield, age 72 of Cumming, Georgia, passed away Thursday, March 16, 2023, at Northside Forsyth Hospital.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 25, 2023, at the Ingram Funeral Home chapel with Phil Faulkner officiating. Entombment will follow in Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends the day of the funeral beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
Phyllis is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Michael Linton of Cumming, Georgia; daughter Shannon Stump of Dallas, Georgia; grandchildren, Cody Matheson, Madison and Jake Forbes, Shelby Linton, Emerald Padgett, Carly Padgett and Sydnee Stump; brother and sister-in-law, Keith and Melody Cook, brother Lee Cook, as well as nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Padgett; father, Calvin Cook; sisters Brenda Cook and Sheila Cook, and brother Kenny Cook.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Gateway Domestic Violence Center at PO. Box 2962, Gainesville, GA 30503, or online at https://www.gatewaydvcenter.org/donate/ where Phyllis worked for many years in Client Services.
Ingram Funeral Home, 210 Ingram Ave, Cumming, GA is in charge of arrangements.
