Phyllis Faye Jones Wells
With heavy hearts, we mourn the passing of Phyllis Faye Jones Wells, who embarked on her journey to Heaven on August 22, 2025, at Atrium Health Cleveland in Shelby, NC. Born on July 6, 1939, in Gaston County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Robert Leonard and Mildred Mae Gladden Jones. Faye was welcomed into heaven by her husband, Richard Carveth Wells, who preceded her in death. Faith was the cornerstone of Faye's life, and she expressed her devotion through her membership at Four Square Gospel Church in Kings Mountain, where she taught Primary Sunday School for 37 years. She most recently at New Harvest Church of God in Gaffney, SC. Her unwavering commitment to her beliefs shone brightly in the love she shared with others, touching countless hearts throughout her life. Faye was not only an exceptional homemaker but also a devoted wife and mother who treasured her family above all. Her heart overflowed with love for her children and grandchildren, always prioritizing their needs and ensuring they felt her boundless affection. Family was the foundation of Faye's life, and she made it her mission to convey to each of her loved ones just how significant they were in her life. As we celebrate the beautiful life of Phyllis Faye Jones Wells, we remember her strength, kindness, and the unwavering love she shared with everyone around her. She will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
