September 30, 1949 - October 25, 2024
Phyllys Marie Trzyna, 75, passed away on October 25, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Kansas City, Missouri, she grew up in Sunland, California, and graduated from Polytechnic High School. In 1969, she married Edward Trzyna, and together they raised their children, Ed Jr. and Kimberly, in Lancaster, California.
Phyllys dedicated her career to public service, working for NASA, Asphalt Construction Co., and retiring after many years with the Antelope Valley Union High School District. She was preceded in death by her husband Ed in 2018 and their son Eddie in 2020. Phyllys fought valiantly through life's challenges and is now reunited with her beloved family.
She is survived by her daughter Kimberly and son-in-law Richard Moakley; sister-in-law Lynda Mills and her husband Dave; nephew David; five grandchildren: Ashlee, Nicole, AJ, Cassidy, and Savannah; and two great-grandchildren, Brixton and River.
