Pierce Edmondson, 86 of Pineville, passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2025, at his home. He was born in Fourmile on August 17, 1939, a son of the late John Harve and Florida Webb Edmondson. Pierce had worked at the Pineville Community Hospital for 30 years in housekeeping.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Dora Lee Wilder, Addie Patterson, Leora Alford, Frank Edmondson, Perry Edmondson, James Edmondson, Ike Edmondson, and Mildred Eldridge.
Pierce is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Carol Saylor Edmondson; sons, Steve and Roberta Edmondson, Kevin Edmondson, Timothy and Rita Edmondson, and Terry and Tabitha Edmondson; grandchildren, Timothy Edmondson, Logan Edmondson, Emmalyn Edmondson, Austin Edmondson, and Haven Edmondson; great-grandchildren, Brooke, Autumn, and Colton; special niece, Vernie Edmondson; special friends, Micky and Mary Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Brother Alex Cox and Brother Donnie Vaughn presiding. Music will be provided by Luther Adkins and Mike Goodin. Burial will follow at the Mills Cemetery in Tinsley. Pallbearers will be Michael Caldwell, Ricky Slusher, Lonnie Rickett, Trevor Kiefer, and Ronnie Saylor. Honorary pallbearers will be Roger Mason, Harold Saylor, Jerry Jeffers, Kelly Jones, Charles Wilder, Tony Wilder, Randy Saylor, Steve Caldwell, and Elmer Jeffers.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Edmondson Family. Light a candle of remembrance and sign the guest register at www.arnettsteele.com.
