Born on February 20, 1937, in the vibrant town of Marmelade, Haiti, Pierre's life was a testament to his unwavering dedication to his family and his community. Pierre leaves behind his cherished partner of 25 years, Marie Lourde Francois, with whom he shared a deep and enduring love. He was a devoted husband to his late wife, Anna (Martha) Preval, whose memory he held close to his heart. A wonderful father, Pierre's legacy is carried on through his children: Carmel Frantz Philippe Preval of Miami, Voster Preval of Georgia, Myrlene Preval of Norwood, Reginald Preval of Miami, Patrick Amerique Preval of Haiti, and Jean Preval Jr. of Abington. He was the beloved grandfather of Andrew Jefferson Preval, Caiel Preval, Carlene Preval, Christopher Rich Paul et enfant, Nathalie Preval, Valerie Preval, Carmelle Hahn, Judy Preval and Annagaelle Preval. He will be remembered by his in-laws Jeanette, Camille, Marise and Ju?? Sylvain.
Pierre's professional life as a customs broker in Haiti was marked by the same integrity and dedication he showed in all aspects of his life. His work was not just a job but a means to achieve a greater purpose – to raise his children and provide them with the best education and opportunities possible. Pierre's selfless nature was evident in every act of kindness, every moment spent helping others, and every sacrifice he made for the betterment of his family.
Pierre's generosity extended beyond his immediate circle, touching the lives of many in his community. He was a man who gave without expectation and loved without reservation. His presence was a source of comfort and strength, and his influence will be felt for generations to come.
