Bea was always each of her nieces and nephews greatest cheerleaders. She came to every baby blessing, ordination, recital or wedding. She was proficient at Facebook and made positive comments on every family member's post. My children even knew her as their cheerleader. Love and miss you Tante Bea!

Bea was such a sweet lady. She had a quiet dignity about her. I had learned about the Vande Merwe family through my father-in-law, Arie Van Tielen. Arie was best friends with one of Bea's brothers, who sadly died in a motorcycle accident, I believe. I was very pleased to get to know Bea later in life. I consider her to be my friend. I will miss this kind lady; she was very special! May Heavenly Father bless all of you with peace and His love as you mourn her passing. May God bless you all. With love, Charlotte Van Tielen.

Dear Jerry and family,
I was so sad to hear of Bea's passing. I loved her very much, she was a special part of my life in the Cannon 9th Ward and beyond. She was so kind and generous. She helped support me on my mission as a young woman and even came to the airport upon my return to take pictures of my reunion with my family for me, which I have treasured. In years to come she became my friend, and I will miss her.
May the Lord bless you all in your loss. You're in our prayers.
With much love,
Shelley and Spence Koehler

Dear family from Bea,
I am so sorry for your loss, I miss her a lot, we have been friends for over 40 years, we did a lot together, Genealogy, going to the Temple, Singles evenings from her Stake and mine, and Region, went for dinners, some were special occasions, others just because we felt like it, or just visited together at her home or mine. I know she feel better now, but I miss her, she left a hole in my heart , and it hurts, so I can feel your pain, may the Lord give us strength, and may we feel His love, I pray for you all, Love Jannette
